this qt is from kino no tabi, a series of novels and also an anime

materials used: doe suede, wool felt, some type of faux fur idk, and pleather

(way satisfied with the head pattern? i can sew it with my sewing machine!!!!! i'm really tired of hand sewing everything!!)

how do you make patterns? do you like make prototypes or do you make them out of paper first? I've heasd a few ways but they aren't very helpful :'o

most of the time i do prototypes yeah! a way to get it right the first time is to make a newspaper sculpture with masking tape, mark where you think the seams will go, and then cut along those lines to get your pattern pieces.
